Gas valve troubleshoot
If, when the probes are placed on the gas valve terminals, the volt meter reads 24v, the manual knob on the gas valve is in the "on" position, the gas supply is on and the pilot is lit, the combination gas valve has failed.
The combination gas valve must be replaced as a complete unit.
