The oil furnace burner gun assembly
On left is the gun assembly for an oil furnace. The nozzle is located at the end of the gun tube (center)
Watch the video below to find where it is located.
Remove the nozzle and hook the gun line to the gun assembly and place it over a coffee can. Run the burner. Oil should run freely out the gun assembly.
The nozzle should be replaced.
If, when replaced, It still does not work, you will have check pump pressure. The pressure should be 100# or more. If oil is available and the pressure does not come up, the pump has failed or the regulator is set too low. Back
